Running for Arcadia City Council, District 3
Cindy's Story
"A Neighbor. A Mom. A Leader Who Cares."
Cindy Ng Monje has called Arcadia home since 1999, including fourteen years raising her family right here in District 3. She's walked her two sons to school, attended Arcadia school events, served as an Arcadia Little League team mom, supported local businesses, and built the kind of relationships with neighbors that come from being an active part of the community.
Community service has long been important to Cindy. Over the years, she has volunteered her time to charities, community organizations, and causes close to her heart, believing that strengthening a community starts with people who are willing to show up and help. An animal lover, Cindy also cares deeply about animal welfare and the organizations and volunteers who help animals in need.
She is a strong supporter of local arts and cultural programs and enjoys community traditions like Concerts on the Green at the Arboretum — the kinds of experiences that bring neighbors together and contribute to Arcadia's unique quality of life.
Life has tested Cindy, and every time it has, she has met it head-on — raising her boys, staying rooted in this community, and turning hard-won experience into steady, clear-eyed leadership.
That's the same independence she'll bring to City Council: no special interests, no rubber stamp — just thoughtful decisions made with District 3 residents and the future of Arcadia front of mind.
